From the industrial heartland of Teesside in North Yorkshire, Troll in a Drum Films are a production stable figureheaded by Writer, Director, Editor and Podcaster, Rob Simpson. With an outlook inspired by Asian Cinema, Cult and Horror, we're on a journey to present something new to the Independent British Genre Scene.

My background, for those of you who are curious, is that for the past 15 years, I have been co-founder and editor of The Geek Show. It's a platform dedicated to giving a voice to people typically excluded from the world of media & criticism. For much of that time I have been a film critic (with a brief summer fling with games journalism), and I have a number of podcasts under my belt. My current beau is the Uncut Network - a podcast looking at overlooked actors, directors and super specific genres, so give it a listen (bottom of page).Moving behind the camera has been a long held ambition of mine, so let's see what the future holds, shall we?
